Love Anyway

On the bendy bus I was in, a passenger entered just as the doors were about to close then the doors reopened. As the doors were closing a man stood in the way and the doors opened. When the doors tried to close again, the man stood in the way and the doors reopened. Then the engines went off. The bus didn't move for a few minutes. A few passengers got off and caught another bus behind.

I remember once speaking to a bus driver about the bendy bus. He said that there were sensors on the doors which prevents them from squashing passengers. If there is something obstructing the doors, there is a mechanism that shuts off the engine.

My first instinct was to blame the passenger for obstructing the doors in the first place. However, my intent to love made me love the man, the other passengers, the driver and the bus. We were soon on our way.

It's so easy to play the blame game. Who cares who is to blame? Love them anyway.

I love you.
