Asking for Assistance

As I was working in the library, a friend came up to me and asked me if I could help her to email a map to her friend. She said she wished she could learn how to use the email. I told her it wasn't a problem. Besides, it was good to see her again and have a chat.

I saw that my friend had downloaded the map. I saved it and tried attaching it as a document so I could send it by her Hotmail but the computer kept crashing. I suggested that if she could download the map from my computer, I would forward it to her friend on her behalf. I asked her what website she had downloaded the map from. It turned out my friend had not downloaded the map from the Internet but had received the map via email. Even better! It was simply a matter of forwarding my friend's email on to her friend.

After I finished sending the email, my friend gave me a big hug and a kiss which was luvverly.

We've been so used to doing things our way that the thought of asking for assistance is anathema. I believe Love wants me to continuously ask for His assistance in all I do. In fact I know that Love wants to be in complete control. How else am I going to live Heaven on Earth if I'm not totally dependent on Divine Love?

The trick is to let Love do the work in all things. Love will either do whatever needs to be done with our without my awareness or work through me or others. Either way it will be Love doing the work.
