Because I Love It

Last night my mother noticed I had switched the TV channel to watch Sex and the City.

"I thought you changed it to watch something serious not 'Sex and the City' again," she said. "Why do you keep watching it?"

"Because I love it."

I know my mother isn't a big fan of SATC because it has a lot of sex scenes and it talks about sex but I love it. I believe I've seen every single episode at least 3 rimes but I still like to watch them, just like I love watching StarTrek reruns and my favourite TV shows and films or listening to my favourite songs.

I guess when something resonates deeply with me and I fall in love with it, I like repeating the experience over and over again.

I love what I love because I do.
