I wrote in a previous piece about a man I observed in the library who was trying to work on the computer, but was being distracted by his young daughter.
Today in the library, a librarian asked me if I knew how to insert footnotes in a document. I said I did. She asked me if I could assist a user. The person turned out to be the same guy I'd seen the other day.
I showed him how to insert footnotes. He seemed a lot calmer today. I note his daughter was nowhere in sight though.
It just shows there is always a footnote to every story.
