OK I admit it, I hear a Voice in my head. Sometimes the Voice has insights and ideas but lately the voice has developed a one-track mind. It keeps saying "I Love You!" over and over again.
Alright, I get it, you love me. Change the record, will ya? :-)
Imagine if I went to see a psychiatrist about the Voice.
Psychiatrist: Tell me about the voice you hear in your head. What does it say?
Enocia: It says: "I love you."
Psychiatrist: I love you?
Enocia: Yes, I love you, non-stop.
Psychiatrist: What else does the voice say? Does it tell you to do things?
Enocia: Nope, just "I love you."
Psychiatrist: Are you sure that's all the voice says?
Enocia: Yes, I'm very sure.
Psychiatrist: Well, there's not much I can do about that.
Enocia: There isn't?
Psychiatrist: No, there isn't.
Enocia: Can't you at least prescribe some medication to silence the Voice.
Psychiatrist: I'm afraid not. As far as I can see, the Voice is harmless.
Enocia: You mean I'm going to have to put up with this Voice whispering sweet nothings forever?
Psychiatrist: Yes.
Enocia: Dear God, please don't let this be true!
Inner Voice: I love you.
Enocia: Aaargh!
Psychiatrist: I love you.
Enocia: Not you as well? Aaargh!
I love you all.
