On some of the buses in London, they have a computer system that announces what the next stop is and the bus's final destination. On the bus I was in the announcement but it was announcing the final destination was Waterloo, which was in the opposite direction. I thought it was funny how the voice sounded so confident when it was so wrong.
After a while I was sick of listening to the wrong information. I wondered if the driver was aware of this. I thought it would be nice if the driver would just switch off the system. Either my intention didn't get through or the driver was ignoring it. The voice kept reminding us that it was terminating at Waterloo. I decided to disconnect from the Voice by being in silence. I was now experiencing my journey from stillness and I could no longer hear the announcement. I was soon aware that it had gone quiet for real on the bus. I looked up and saw that the driver had switched off the system.
I could see that when I'd put out the intention to experience a reality with no announcement, I wasn't able to receive it because I could still hear what I didn't want to experience. When I switched off my hearing sense, I was able to be in the stillness where all realities exist as unmanifest energy, including the one with no bus announcements, which was then made manifest.
Sometimes it's nice to just switch off the senses and simply be.
