Yesterday evening I watched Kelly Osbourne being interviewed in the news about her latest role in the musical, Chicago. She said she'd been very nervous before her first performance because she was expecting to be slated by the critics. At one point she didn't think she could go on but her mother, Sharon, reminded her that she was an Osbourne and she should go on stage and make her family proud. The critics apparently loved her.
It got me thinking about the power of being part of a family. The family doesn't necessarily have to be blood but it could be religion, political or any group you feel a strong connection to. That family equips you with the resources you need to face any challenges the world throws at you.
I identify myself as Soul or Spirit or Vector8. We are all Vectors, spirit beings experiencing life. Each of us belong to different Vectors. Vector8 is my real family.
I know I make my family proud.
