For me, trust is believing that the universe is unfolding perfectly according to one's beliefs and expectations.
For instance, on the bus I heard four young girls chatting about Chinese food. From what I could make out, they were on their way to the restaurant. After a while I noticed a van driving by the bus and part of the signs were in Chinese with the words "Oriental Cuisine." I wondered if the girls had noticed this. That's the universe for you, always shape shifting according to thoughts and beliefs.
On another bus I heard this woman asking if the bus was going to Kings Cross and if someone would let her know when we arrived. Instead of offering my assistance, I decided to simply observe. Someone said that he would let her know when she got there. Soon a guy came on board and started speaking on his mobile phone. He said he was on his way to Kings Cross. The woman said to her daughter that at least someone was getting off at the same stop. Other passengers got on board and the woman chatted to them. When we got to Kings Cross, the bus driver announced where we were and the woman and her daughter got off.
As I see it, Love is doing a brilliant job meeting everyone's needs and expectations with or without my assistance.
