Old Friends, New Friends

I met some new old friends the other day. By new I mean I've never met them before in this reality; and by old, I know I've always known them. The first time we connected was through my friend's website and we started communicating by email. We arranged to meet up when he and his wife were in London.

My friends took me out to dinner at a nice Chinese restaurant in China Town. It didn't matter at all that we've had different life experiences, it was so easy and fun being with them. They've invited me to visit next time I'm in the States.

It was lovely spending time with you, dear friends.

I'm so grateful for the Internet for enabling me to connect with kindred spirits.
