Play Mates are Everywhere

As I was waiting for the bus, I locked gaze with this boy who was leaning against a lamp post. He hid his face behind the post and then reappeared on the other side. Our gazes locked again and we both smiled. We started playing peekaboo. His younger brother wanted to join in so I played with both of them until their bus arrived.

That's what I love about kids. You don't see them getting all worked up because their parents are too busy to play. There's always someone in that moment they can play with.

I feel the same way.
